Stainless Steel Cat Litter Tray

I have tried many different types of litter boxes over the years. They all have either broken in some type of way or end up getting super stained over time. And not to mention the smell that comes from most are awful. But this one? No smell. Even though it’s open at the top, doesn’t smell. And it doesn’t stain because it’s smell which is great. It’s also a very nice height since I have a puppy so he isn’t tall enough at all to get curious enough to look in there

I ordered this Zarler Stainless Steel Litter Box for Cats to swap out our plastic litter box. At first, I didn't think the cats would use it because the sound would be different but they could care less apparently. The sound is louder for us humans but we get used to it as well. This litter box is also so much easier to clean. The litter just slides out without getting stuck and the residual smell is basically non existent compared to plastic ones. I am very happy with this stainless steel litter box and just wish it was a bit lower in price.

I was dubious about a stainless steel litter box.

But now, I’m like “why would anyone use plastic again?”

Our fussy girl jumped straight into it after filling it with litter. Had a pee, had a scrape, jumped out, brought very little litter with her.

Because of its location - in a closet in our en-suite - we were worried we might be able to hear her claws scrape on the metal. Again, if anything, it was quieter!

Stainless steel should be a breeze to clean, minimal scratches, no wearing out or replacing ever? It might be a bit pricier than a regular molded plastic tray, but we get through several a year because we don’t always trust them once they get worn.

Added bonus; this is MUCH easier to move and shift about than a plastic box!
